Come On Girl…Get It Together

So…baby steps. I have done them before…I have offered them in advice…multiple times…now its time to take them.

I have been playing the “I’ll Start Tomorrow” game…even the “I’ll Start On MONDAY” game. It’s a dumb move…I know it. So here I am and going to take a few tiny baby steps.

1) Journal all food (and post it daily?)…good or bad.

2) 15 minutes of walking in for at least the next few days…then bump it up.

3) Water…continue drinking water…increasing amount.

4) Accomplish something worthwhile in regard to housework.

That’s it. Those are the baby steps. Pathetic? Probably…but its all I got, so Im giving it my all.

Here’s to getting back up and taking baby steps!

    No they are ace, they are crucial = they matter all the way along the journey of weight loss. Get in the habit of it, takes effort and then even on crap days hopefully the habit will kick in. It does for me.x

    Debbi this sounds wonderful! Stop the negative self-talk like the word “pathetic” you used. Do these baby steps and be proud when you accomplish them. So happy to see you picking yourself up and dusting yourself off. With you every step of the way my friend.

    That’s what I had to do, start back at square one… remember my blogs back in January?… starting back over with the tiniest baby steps, then I got back on track (lol, then derailed, but I don’t think we’ll be in THAT boat together! :-O )

    baby steps have to be used when u want to chnage your lifestyle,i used to do the whole start monday thing…ummm that just caused me to overeat ALL weekend,so then I felt like crap Monday ,I felt sooo weak,so now,I dont wait for Monday,I just start the same day…food journals help,drink water n keep busy with anything I mean anything.When you get all mad or feel like giving up,read some peoples blogs,its very motivating to see people who are struggling like I am and motivate me to make it another day!!hang in there =)

    Those steps are perfect. Once you master them you can easily add to it and it is surely better than having no game plan at all and just doing whatever and going nowhere. You hang in there…I am happy to read this blog and see the steps you are going to take. Great job!
