48 Degrees

That is the perfect temperature for a crisp, Fall morning walk. Of course it helps that I’m slow to wake up. That way I am already out and walking before my mind has a chance to plot against me, telling me I’m too tired and cold. See, there are positive traits to being a morning grump after all.

This week has been rough, but I am trying hard to find the positive each day. Even if it’s only that I walked, or ate right, or drank my water like a camel.  I am thankful for the gorgeous weather, the beautiful views around me and a roof over my head.

I am looking forward to a hike up a local trail tomorrow. Planning on getting some better pictures of the leaves changing. I was supposed to take my 3 boys, but my oldest got hurt last night. He is okay, thank God. He fell out of a tree and is pretty banged up on his arm, ribs and leg. Thought his leg may have been broken. He went to the ER and had x-rays. Thankfully its not.

I hope you all are finding joy in some area of your lives…no matter how small at the moment.

Have a GREAT weekend Buddies!!

Thank you for sharing that picture. Makes me that more jealous of you and the wonderful scenes you get to enjoy every day. :)

I love your fighting spirit Deb. Even though you are going through rough times, you are keeping your head up. I admire you for that. I remember when I was going through my own BullSh%$t I was half the woman you are. :) For real - no BSing there.

You are an inspiration to me. Keep fighting, keep living today.

    Have a great one!

brr… it takes me a while to realize what’s going on in the mornings, too

Good time to sneak in something healthy… like my first litre of water!

What a lovely photo. Is that where your walk? I know this has been a tough week, but remember you are moving forward now. Keep up the good work.

I hope your son is better soon. I was an avid tree climber in my childhood. Right up to the top, and I would spend hours dangling from branches like a monkey. My kids, not so much, although they loved the treehouse my brother built for them. as a child, there is nothing finer than climbing high up on a tree and surveying the landscape and being anything you want to be.

This is my first fall—in Southern California we only get two seasons—HOT and COLD! LOL!! Mostly HOT! Anyway, I truly am enjoying the changing leaves, but unlike where you’re at, there’s no sun here—rain, rain and more rain—which I love by the way!! Keep embracing your beautiful surroundings and your spirit will be lifted! Hang in there!

What a beautiful place to walk! I haven’t made myself get up and out early yet. Here in southern OK it is so hot in the summer that you have to get up and out really early to get anything done, so I really enjoy this time of year. I can take it slow and still get out and go walking. I’m looking forward to seeing those pictures. Keep your chin up and have a great weekend.
