I AM Going To Have A Good Day…Even If It Kills Me :)

I AM going to have a good day today!

As I’ve said before, music sooooothes my inner savage beast (and sometimes the outer one too!). So, what song really lifts your spirit up? Come on…I know there are other beasts like me out there. Please tell me your pick me up song/music, I want to explore some of them, take em for a test drive. J

I love pop music like anything from Shayne Ward or Leona Lewis or Christina Aguilera or… the list is too long. Pop music in general!

If I’m trying to get into my training “zone”, then angry music like Sum41, Good Charlotte, Feeder (their Album “singles” is the best work out music!).

If I’m drawing or just want to relax, then classical… something with just music and no words. Or something from “Clannad”. That music’s really soothing.

My husband made an Ipod track for me a few years ago that had music on it that was an intro to a wonderful week long vacation in Las Vegas. (He is very fond making music tracts for our vacations). It was our anniversary and he gave me a very beautiful pair of ruby earrings and a ring. As I cried with emotion, the song “I can’t fight this feeling” came on. You know, the one with the dancing babies from the Ally McBeal show? Then I started laughing. I love that song. It always picks me up and makes me smile, no matter how crappy my day has been! Give it a try.

There is a group of young guys called Acapella and yes that is what they sing. They are awesome. On one of their CD’s, they sing “God is an awesome God” and that might not be the title. But it makes me feel so good and know that God is there for me when noone else is. Lifts me. You might enjoy it too.

September’s “you’ll never see me again” is my favorite song right now… if you really think about it… I’m not crazy but I think about that extra fat I want off my belly and thighs, and I sing to it… “you’ll never see me againnn… no matter what you do!!!”… great track… Also… any type of techno or dance usually does it for me though

Ahh! how music soothes the soul. It is for me the way He communicates with all of us His message of love and caring. Melodies are blessings! I always say.

I sing songs from my spirit…really! I hear them and then sing them. Sometimes I hear the music too…It is beautiful! God just gives them to me…and they make my spirit soar! Sometimes when I am praying for someone, I can hear Him singing over that person, so I sing them for them and they are usually moved by it–it is a spiritual gift.

I also have a 1 gig mp3 player full of worship music…all kinds…and I play that sometimes when I am walking.

    No favorites right now…

Anything spiritual or ANYTHING by Josh Groban. His music is wonderful and lifts me up. I guess I really do not have one favorite. Music is wonderful and therapeutic (sp?) on so many levels. I hope you had a great day!

Right now, there is a song called “Little Red Balloon”, and it is about a girl whose father passed, and when she wants to talk to him, she writes him notes on little red balloons. My dad’s birthday is coming up, so that one is on my mind.
